Or, just one specific cub to be exact. I have the beginnings of a narrative idea in my head, so I've started out by doing several drawings of this little guy (also it's a nice exercise in trying to keep consistant character design). Now, I'm off to have a coffee and attempt some storyboarding :)

Been a while since I uploaded anything, so here's a remade illustration from an old uni children's book project. I'm planning on remaking the whole book, once I have re-figured the style properly; this isn't quite what I was after, but it's getting there :)

I was working in the Cats Protection shop on Saturday, thinking over this weeks Illustration Friday topic, when suddenly, the title of a prominently displayed book caught my eye:

"Warning: When I am an old woman I shall wear purple"

And so, upon having a closer look I discovered this poem by Jenny Joseph, which conjured up a lot of wonderful imagery in my head (and from having a quick browse through the other images entered into I.F this week, I see others have been inspired by it too!) So here is my illustration based on it:
