I.F Layer

I have decided this image counts for this weeks Illustration Friday, due to the amount of layers of paper there are in it! (the small dog was made out of 6 or 7 layers alone). I love working in this way now because of the slight 3D effect it has (although it's a bit hard to see at this size).

This picture was originally used for a 'get well soon' card I made for someone.

Sleepy Hedgehog

He looks more like he is sleeping on a sunflower head than a bed of leaves.... anyway it still looks quite pretty and was mostly an experiment at giving my work a bit of a 3D quality. Very fun, but the leaves were a pain to cut out!

Graduation Owl

Last week my mum mentioned knitting a graduation day owl once. So I made one. He even has a detachable hat he can throw in the air (I would be quite tempted to animate him if I had the time).
I quite enjoyed going through all my graduation photos again for reference... good day :) Rainy, but good.

I.F Chicken

I haven't done one for ages, but upon seeing that this weeks Illustration Friday prompt was Chicken, I couldn't resist doing a tribute to my lovely Stanley Rooster, he died a couple of years back and I still miss him lots. He had his moods, (particularly in the mornings) but he was the sweetest chicken ever. Here he is doing what he did best :)

Balloon

The same bear as before. I ended up putting this little illustration on the back of the previously mentioned card, although originally it was an alternate design for the cover.

Teddy Bear

Commissioned card illustration. There is text in the white space. But it has been edited off, to keep the identity of the person who will eventually recieve this card a secret ;)
