Long Overdue Update 1: Cat Edition

I just realised I haven't updated this since September, so here's some cat gift tag/notebook cover designs I did for the Cats Protection Winter Fayre:

Cats!

It's that time of year again where I may (time/job permitting) have a stall at the Cats Protection winter fayre, so I spent today designing a new set of bookmarks. Quite pleased with how they're looking at the moment :)

Just playing around with more ideas :) Aurelia the orange tiger cub produces a butterfly out of the 'rainbow puddle'.
Still working on developing this idea in a book format, but it looks like a group of us are going to try turning it into an animated short too.

Or, just one specific cub to be exact. I have the beginnings of a narrative idea in my head, so I've started out by doing several drawings of this little guy (also it's a nice exercise in trying to keep consistant character design). Now, I'm off to have a coffee and attempt some storyboarding :)
